November 10, 2025Very inspiring for young people to excel
Very inspiring and insightful for young people to aim for excellence and learn about black scientists and inventors. The lessons are carefully constructed and has been used in a meaningful way to encourage young people to know that they too can become scientists of tomorrow . Questions are asked to encourage learning and understanding of what has been taught. I would highly recommend this series of books to be in every school.

November 09, 2025This book changed my sons view of maths & science, he is now a material's engineer.
I bought this book many, many years ago, I think my son was about 12yrs old at the time. He loved the book. The funny thing is he hated maths and science before reading that book, but after reading it all he would talk about is science and becoming a scientists. Needless to say he did extremely well in his A Levels, he then went to university and read bio-chemistry. Today he works for a top tech materials company, creating I believe he calls it new nano-materials.
