This my short reaction to an article titled:
"The Rise of the Battery: Powering the Caribbean's Clean Energy Future"

--Dated Oct. 20, 2025 • written By the Black Scientists and Inventors Team in your Tech Pulse section.

I found the article uplifting and very inspiring, it comes at a time when hurricanes are ravishing the Caribbean region, this year Jamaica hit the hardest with Mellissa. So start ups that are involved in technology that reduces carbon emissions is excellent. The Caribbean can are doing their part as far as clean energy is concerned, the rest of the world in particular the developed nations which produce the most carbon emissions just need to do the same.

Kevin, your battery article was insightful. I’d love to explore how clean energy intersects with equitable access—especially in underserved communities.

Clean energy is vital, but let’s not forget the environmental racism in where plants and waste are located. We need justice-driven innovation.
